DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA ACTIVIDAD REALIZADA

Ecoclay is dedicated to the manufacture of clay mortars, clay paints and clay plaques for partition walls and interior finishings.

The main property of clay mortars is that they present a high specific surface area and that they are hygroscopic. That is, they regulate the internal humidity of the rooms, keeping the relative humidity between 45% and 65%. Moreover, they are thermal and acoustic insulators, they neutralize smells and toxic materials, they are free of any VOC content, they prevent the proliferation of mould, and they are reusable.

Regarding the silicate clay paints, they are also free of any VOC content, they present a high level of coverage, they do not contain titanium dioxide, they prevent the proliferation of mould and they are highly healthful.

APPRENTICESHIP

Ecoclay is a brand of clay mortars, paints and plaques developed from the experience of a family business dedicated to the world of clay since 1970 for its application in different sectors.

TEACHING

They have carried out workshops with workers and architects to let them know more about how to use the materials they manufacture on-site.

-Single-family dwelling in Marbella; implementation of the Ecoclay system; 15 mm Ecoclay base+fibre, 2 mm Ecoclay base and 2 mm Ecoclay finish in all the interior partitions.
-Passive houses in Montornés del Vallés (Barcelona) and Calonge (Girona), by the architect Josep Bunyesc; interior finishings carried out with Ecoclay clay plaques PLAC, finishes with clay mortars and clay paints.
-Escola Líberi Premià de Mar (Barcelona); acoustic insulation with Ecoclay clay plaques PLAC for the music room.
-Country house in the Alto Ampurdán; implementation of the Ecoclay system on stone and brick, using 10 colours of Ecoclay finish mortars.
– Country house in Valderrobres, with a 700 m2 floor plan; implementation of the Ecoclay system combined with stone.
-Wine Cellar Venus la Universal, Tarragona; clay paint for the finishing of the room where the barrels are kept.
– Wine Cellar Mas Martinet Falcet (Tarragona); clay paint for the finishing of the room where the barrels are kept, the specialized wine shop and the tasting room.
-Restaurant Mama Campo (Madrid); artistic finishing mortars, clay paints and jute-nettings.
-Restaurant Venta Moncalvillo in Daroca de Rioja (La Rioja); coating with the Ecoclay system 20 mm de Ecoclay base+fibre, 2 mm Ecoclay base and Ecoclay clay paint.
-Restaurant Arima Basque Gastronomy (Madrid); acoustic insulation with Ecoclay clay plaques PLAC and coating with Ecoclay mortar base+fibre with no other coating on top of it.
-Restaurant Carpo Gourmet, Pozuelo (Madrid); finishing of Ecoclay clay mortar 3 mm finish on plasterboard.
-Bearan Bar & Rooms, Pamplona; finishing with the Ecoclay system, with an Ecoclay base finish with no other layer on top of it.
