Jorge Jesús Fernández Arxina does stonemasonry and also artistic and sculptural work in all sorts of natural stone: granite, limestone, marble, sandstone, slate, etc.
He is notable for the design and manufacture of interior and exterior stonework such as sculptures, stone walls, seats, mouldings, lintels, jambs,… balustrades, coats of arms, washbasins, shower trays, worktops, fountains, fireplaces, lamps, crockery and mortars. He also does funereal art and carved lettering.
All of his projects are performed with manual craft techniques using traditional stoneworking tools such as flat chisels, tooth chisels, a round mallet, a bolster, a bull point, etc. combined with electric stonework tools such as angle grinders, milling cutters, air hammers or cutting and polishing discs.
