Calle Convento nº 60 – 16120 Valera de Abajo
As of their early days of making doors and windows in Valera de Abajo, and for over sixty years, Clemencio Martínez Peral and his brother Antonio Martínez Peral were notable for their craftsmanship in making the most complex objects.
The trade has been inherited by their… sons-in-law Luis, Jesús and José María, who continue the tradition of making solid wood doors and windows. This involves combining manual craft expertise with the latest machinery so as to facilitate certain tasks.
They use various kinds of wood, though mostly pine. They select them with particular care and store them in natural drying chambers.
As well as doors and windows, they engage in all sorts of woodwork, notably including roof and floor structures.
They learnt the trade from their fathers-in-law, Antonio Martínez Peral and Clemencio Martínez Peral.
