Giovanni Bruno and his wife Regina Mendiondo make up STUDIO 77, specialised in the restoration of mural painting and archaeological materials as well as in various types of rendering.
Their work notably includes the application of continuous renders with lime mortar, aggregates and selected natural pigments.… They have sought to recover traditional techniques and use natural additives, applied both in priming layers and in finishes with lime plasters and paints.
They apply finishes with various techniques and textures such as coccio pesto terracotta or marmorino veneziano plaster, with a long tradition in Italy. They also execute gypsum renders and are proficient in the prized Moroccan plastering technique known as tadelakt.
