C/ San Roque Nº22 – 09600 Salas de los Infantes
He carries out mainly stone works, carving of stone and sculpture. The types of stone he uses are basically sandstone and limestone, both of which come from the area where he lives in Pinares. He continues to use the tools that have always been used… for the craft such as the mallet, the bush hammer, the toothed stone axe, chisels of all sizes, wedges, etc. However, he also uses radial saws and pneumatic compressors to ease the harder parts of the work.
He learnt everything of how to become a good craftsman from another mason from Galicia who already passed away. His name was José Pazos. He also attended courses on carving delivered by AGALSA. His master in these courses was Carmelo Carneros.
Several works spread throughout the Peninsula, from the reconstruction of the windows of the Cathedral of Toro to many coats of arms.
