José Carlos is a builder whose speciality is making timbrel vaults (also known as Catalan or shell vaults) of all sizes, as well as wooden structures.

Timbrel vaults can cover large spans without a need for falsework and with a vault thickness of less than 5… cm. This technique has been used widely over the years, especially where wood has been scarce.
