The artisan Rogelio works in his workshop in León, from which he develops a polyhydric and multidisciplinary task. In his workshop they have different departments where they carry out different works, using the several techniques involved in the art of working with glass.
Regarding artistic stained glass windows, they master several techniques linked to the assembling of pieces – such as leading up and copper finishing stained glass windows – as well as other techniques such as glass fusing, thermal shaping and appliance of grisailles and enamels. They also stand out in the field of restoration and conservation of historic stained glass windows.
They also manufacture jewellery, lamps, etc.
His first steps within the craft were in the School of Arts and Crafts in León, within the field of Artistic Stained Glass Windows, broadening his knowledge afterwards at the Centro Nacional del Vidrio (Segovia) and the Centro Galego do Vidrio (Santiago de Compostela). There he carried out specialization courses in different fields and disciplines related to glass: glass blowing, shaping, mirrors, jewellery, serigraphy, glass fusing, restoration and sculpture, along prestigious national and international masters such as: Georges Stahl, Ana Thiel, Miriam Di Fiore, Norberto Moretti, Pablo and Alfonso Muñoz or Diego Pizzol, among others.
