The clay which is extracted from their quarry is finely grinded and mixed with water, with no type of additives. Their artisans mould the pieces with the aid of traditional wooden moulds. Once the pieces are hard, the exceeding material is manually cut with a special type of knife. The pieces are left to air-dry and when they are finally ready they are transported to the kiln, where they are piled up. They are fired in a traditional way using biomass as the fuel of the kiln. Once they are cold, they are placed in pallets, and one by one, they are checked to ensure they are all in optimal conditions. APPRENTICESHIP Local and family tradition. They use the same techniques that were traditionally used from the very beginning, with only slight improvements that the successive artisans have implemented with the passing of time. SELECTED WORKS Their materials have been used in the restoration of emblematic buildings, in and out of Spain, for both façades and interiors of new buildings and for courtyards, terraces and exteriors of pools.
