Forjas Andrés is a business founded over 50 years ago by the blacksmith Alberto Andrés González, whose beginnings in the craft were linked to the former factory of Echevarría,in Begoña (Aceros Heva). Today, his sons Raúl and Ignacio continue the family business, which has become… one of the few workshops in Vizcaya where the traditional techniques of forged iron and their different thermal treatments are still alive.  

Always located close to Bilbao, their works have been linked both with the different industrial activities of the city and also those of the rural surrounding areas. Thus, in this workshop they have carried out works for the naval industry, the steel industry, the building sector (furniture, fencing, handrails, pergolas,..) and the farming one too (tools and utensils). 

Nowadays, in terms of the building sector, they combine artistic forge (both newly-manufactured pieces and restoration) with other types of iron works (metal carpentry and structures), including works such as doors, windows, grilles, doorways and balconies. 

Throughout the years they have worked hard to maintain the high quality of their works, in order to give their clients the best possible service.
