ACTIVITY
Ismael Ortega carries out locksmithing and forge works using the tools and the knowledge his family has passed on to him, as they have done before generation after generation.
He carries out all sorts of locksmithing elements, locks, nails, gates, fences, handrails, balconies, skylights, etc.
TRAINING
His learning of the craft has mainly taken place in the family workshop, although he has also worked with the master Juan Antonio Sánchez.
TEACHING
In his workshop he has trained great apprentices throughout the years, being Ramón Recuero the most outstanding one.
SELECTED WORK
Gate of the Cristo de la Luz of the Mosque in Toledo (in collaboration with Antonio Balmaseda).
