Pradera de Navalhorno 5 Nº8 – 40109 San Ildefonso
The work done by Lucio de Miguel is that of a traditional craft carpenter. He seeks to produce woodwork with the craftsmanship of old so as to achieve the same properties, especially as regards durability.
Miguel’s carpentry and joinery shop makes doors, windows and cabinets as… well as doing restorations, including stuccos and gilding, furniture, timber houses, flooring, wooden ceilings, friezes, cellars, staircases, railings, carvings, marquetry, etc.
Learning by family inheritance. His master was his father, a demanding teacher and a fine human being.
He gave joinery classes at job-training courses held by the National Heritage Agency for 14 years. In his workshop he has taught five pupils who are currently woodwork practitioners.
