Miguel A. Fernández González
ACTIVITY
Miguel A. Fernández González manufactures doors and windows certified with CE marking, refurbishes houses and makes and restores bespoke furniture. The woods he uses mostly are chestnut (locally sourced), eucalyptus and iroko, depending on the type of work requested.
TRAINING
He has been working as a joiner since 1987. He learnt the craft at the Mondoñedo Trade School and with other woodworkers.
TEACHING
He has taught carpentry in various trade schools for over 10 years. He was woodwork instructor in Mondoñedo (Lugo province) from 2000 to 2002, and also for Barreiros Town Council (Lugo province) from 2013 to 2017.
