ACTIVITY
Miguel Ángel Abella is dedicated to traditional construction using adobe and wood as well as a great diversity of finishings, such as renders with clay mortars stabilized with aggregates, straw and lime; finishings using earths, straw and lime; plasters and traditional stuccoes with lime; carved… stuccoes; sgraffito; and lime paints by means of lime water and mineral pigments, among others.
He also carries out the remediation of rising damp by means of lime mortar renders.

Attendance-based courses with masonry and carving stone practices at the workshop “Taller Arte Piedra”, in Astorga.
Attendance-based courses with work practices in Morón de la Frontera, with the master Laurent Coquemont (Traditional finishings and renders with clay and lime, stuccoes and lime painting).

Remediation of rising damp in stone walls by means of lime mortar renders in the Cofradía la Vera Cruz (Astorga).
Complete construction of a traditional lounge, with recycled wooden structure, adobe walls, wooden horizontal structures, and natural insulation made of clay, straw and lime mortar as… well as the use of Arabic tiling. Finishings made of clay and straw.
Setting out and placement of granite arches in the Gaudi Palace, Astorga.
