Taller de Cerámica Ajaraca was founded in the year 1999 with the aim of retrieving a series of ornamental – architectural and pictorial – motives which are part of the tradition of Granada and especially of the Alhambra.
One of the branches they specialize in within… the workshop is tiling with the aforementioned motives and the production – completely artisanal and following traditional techniques – of tailored mural walls made of tiles depicting landscapes, religious images or whichever other motive.
Their commissions are linked to the restoration of tiling in existing buildings as well as the manufacture of new pieces. In this workshop they work on request, and therefore, they closely assist the client in his/her needs and creative ideas.
The learning of the craft has been part of the family tradition.
