Xelo Sanchis carries out a wide variety of works regarding the conservation and preservation of stained glass windows – along with other works of new creation. 

She learnt the traditional techniques of the craft, which she has put daily into practice over the years, introducing certain… updates based on the knowledge she’s acquired regarding new technologies and materials. Since then she has continued in her learning process both in terms of the possibilities the different stained glass techniques have to offer and in the field of the restoration of these types of elements. 

In her own creation, she integrates the final result of the stained glass windows in the architectural space surrounding it. To this aim she makes use of traditional techniques such as painting with grisaille and leading up as well as other more recent ones as the use of copper to weld the pieces together, painting using enamels, etc. 

She masters the techniques of enamelling, the use of grisailles, leading up, welding with tin, mosaics, sandblasting, traditional leaded stained glass windows and Tiffany stained glass windows.
