Restoration, design and manufacture of artistic leaded stained glass windows, made out of different types of glass, decorated with grisailles and silver stain, and which are fixed by means of firing the glass in the oven. Apart from the leaded elements, he also carries out… stained glass windows with copper and masters the Tiffany technique.
Another activity they carry out is the restoration and manufacture of lamps and other glass objects. For the development of this activity they use different types of glass, grisailles, silver stain, copper red glaze and different chemical products which are necessary to develop the works. They use manual tools for the cutting of the glass, different types of pliers, welding tools, glass polishing and electric ovens in order to melt glass or make decorations, using different temperatures depending on the works which are to be carried out.
In different workshops he learnt the techniques of leading up, copper stained glass windows, Tiffany technique, casting of glass and thermal shaping. To learn how to decorate glass he carried out a course at the Centro Nacional del Vidrio at the Real Fábrica de Cristales… within Granja de San Ildefonso (Segovia). This course was imparted by the master stained glass maker Sante Pizzol.
For years he has been giving courses in his own workshop/school regarding the aforementioned techniques both to professionals within the field and individuals interested in the subject.
