Torneados Muruaga is a firm that has been going for well over 20 years, headed by Josu Muruaga, a woodturner who combines artisan work with the latest technology.
This blend of craft and mechanisation means that each time he produces a new model he starts by… working with roughing and finishing gouges, and then in a second phase he moves to the automatic lathe.
He works with various woods, most often oak, beech, longleaf pine, Swedish pine, rosewood, sapelli and iroko.
His products for construction include stair bannisters, balcony railings, columns, balusters, moulded panels, wainscoting, etc.
