ACTIVITY
The team of the Norath carpentry shop in Gijón (Asturias) are specialists in building and restoring hórreo and panera granaries (the latter having six or more staddle stones) with traditional techniques and materials. They restore them using always fine oak and chestnut timber. A hallmark… of their work is the recovery of Asturian-Celtic ornaments and symbols on older granaries. And as well as on-site carpentry they do workshop joinery and make balustrades, furniture, etc.
